Just Us Girls #796 - Word Week

It's Word Week here at JUGS and it's Sue here as your hostess!  We would like to see all of your Halloween creations this week.  Will you create something spooky or cute?  Can't wait to see what you come up with.  This gives your plenty of time to get them in the mail.

Here is some inspiration from our fabulous Guest Designer, Greta and the rest of our amazing Design Team!

Winner of the Week #795

The gallery was abound with leaves from summer, winter and the colorful ones from autumn.  Some cards were clean and simple and others included an entire scene.  It is fun to see the variety and frustrating to try and pick a winner.

My pick for this challenge is Nelleke.

Her card didn't show in the gallery (only the Linky image) so you may not have clicked on it to see what she did.  This is gelliplate art made with real leaves.  I was mesmerized and amazed at all the cards she made using this technique.

Congratulations, Nelleke!  You are our Winner of the Week.  Please take your winner's badge from our sidebar.

A few other cards caught my attention.

Donna Mikasa

Donna's style is always so clean and colorful.  This delightful card has plenty of texture, dimension and pizzazz.

And then there are the dueling flamingos.

I couldn't pick one over the other so I'm giving them both a shout out.

Julia Aston

The expression and eyelashes on Julia's flamingo stole my heart.

Stephanie Lanzalotto

Stephanie added all the large green leaves her son's girlfriend loves.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to make a card for this die challenge.  Please come back in an hour when Sue will host the Word Week Challenge.
