Jugs 39 - Template Challenge

Welcome to another challenge with JUGS. It's Maria here with this week's template challenge for you. I love making shape cards and apron cards have always been my favorite. So this week's challenge is to make an apron card. If you are not familiar with this "shape" check out the template HERE. This is a template by Mirkwood Designs! Mirkwood Designs also has a fabulous blog called: Mirkwood Designs Adventures in Creativity HERE. They have fabulous podcasts and a blog which is all about all areas of creative endeavors, including paper arts, fiber arts, culinary arts and music. It's worth the hop over!

Chick of the week #38

This week's Chick of the week goes out to Lynn! Be sure to check out her post, it is great! I saw this card and really loved the simplicity of it, yet it really catches your eye.

JUGS - 38 - Color Challenge

Good Morning on this "Yummy" Saturday morning! Thanks for joining Just Us Girls for another challenge. This week's challenge is a "color" challenge hosted by Alicia. As you can see by the graphic that this would be a perfect for an ice cream cone. Just as long as you create something with the three colors, pink, chocolate, and vanilla, you will be entered for a chance at chic of the week. Don't the ice cream cones make you hungry!!!

Chic of the Week #37

Oh my gosh girls - you have blown the TOP off this week's Let's Get Digital challenge. Who knew that digi images were SO popular!?! What a great turn out - thank you all. Of course I looked at every single entry and I must say that the job of choosing a Chic of the Week is ALMOST impossible. Of course, I still had to choose one so out of the 154 Entries *gasp* I finally settled on this project by Ros Crawford.

I was delighted by all the elements Ros put into this project. Digital papers, digital image, adorable little accent tags, embellishments and my favorite "accents" - the wee bits of baby blanket in teddy's hand. How cute is that? Her gift box is her own design and the entire set just captured my fancy this week.

I want to take one more moment to say fond farewell to our team member, Mona. Mona has been an amazing participant on this team and we will miss her. She has truly inspired each of us and most of you with her beautiful shabby chic vintage style. Mona we wish you well! Stay in touch. :-)

Good morning girls - thanks for joining Just Us Girls for another Saturday morning challenge. This week is a technique challenge and our hostess is Pam.
