Chic of the Week #64

Wowee! Ladies, I was positively stunned by all of the fantastic creations using the colors this week! 'm so glad you enjoyed the colors and that everyone took time out of their busy holiday schedules to play along :)

How to pick one Chic of the Week? I agonized over this decision - they were just so many stunning creations.... but I kept coming back to this card by Teresa Kline;

Hello friends!
It's Andrea here. With winter and the holiday season in full swing, I decided that a challenge using non-holiday colors would be a nice change of pace.

The gorgeous inspiration photo is from A Creative Mint... Leslie has some BEAU-TI-FUL pictures on her site :) These colors are so peaceful and serene to me, spa-like... goodness knows I could certainly use a spa day right about now, how about you?

Chic of the Week #63

Chic of the week #62

I loved all the great creations that all of you came up with! I'm really into pennant banners lately so when I went to draw up the sketch that was the first thing that came to mind. I love how some of you went out of the box and used other things besides pennants.

My favorite for this week was Leanne's creation. I just loved all the vibrant colors and her cute pennant! Thank you to everyone that played along this week. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the "techniche challenge" that Maria has in store for you!

It's DECEMBER already, can you believe it? It's Alicia here hosting a sketch challenge for our first challenge in December! I can't believe that it is nearing the end of 2010 already! Chic of the Week #61

Can I just start by saying WOWWWWWWW?!  Who knew a simple "3-D holiday embellishment" challenge would rope in SO many submissions?!  LOL  I guess I should have considering it IS that time of year and almost all of the projects being produced have some sort of 3-D holiday embellishment on them!  You all have outdone yourselves...your projects were fantastic and gave me so many fresh ideas for my own craft time :]  Thank you for that.

I found SOOOO many favorites going through the 88 sumissions, it was hard setting aside the 8 that I did!  But alas...it was the very last submission that stole my heart this week.  Ms. Alyssa Scritchfield crafted the most amazing elf stocking with a spectacular 3-D snowflake embellishment ♥  I knew as soon as I opened the thumbnail that she was our Chic of the Week #61!  Check out her gorgeous project:

So festive and fun :]  Just like these other honorable mentions that really caught my eye!

Pattie - After I saved all of my favorites, I realized that THREE of them were from Pattie alone!  This girl does beautiful work!  Here are her three that just spoke to me:  Fave#1, Fave#2, and Fave#3

Chris - I then realized that Chris created two of my other faves!  Weird, I tell ya!  I didn't even notice until I went through the final list I set aside.  Here are her two:  Fave#1 and Fave#2

Melissa - Her card is so elegant...you have to check out her unique color palette and her fab tag and snowflake!

Monique - I fell in LOVE with her awesome sleigh tag with the cute, masculine stocking ♥

So, yes, those are the 8 I set aside as favorites, but I have to say, there were SEVERAL others...I wish I could recognize each of you personally :]  Your work was just spectacular this week!  I see everyone is gearing up for the holidays!  Thank you all for inspiring me to do the same ♥
