Maria here this week for our Just Us Girls Wild Card Challenge.

Before we begin with this week's challenge all of us at Just Us Girls want to take a minute to say THANK YOU to Lynn who will be leaving us.  This is her last week on the design team, she has decided to step down to pursue other adventures in life.  Lynn has been a wonderful team player and will be missed!  Lynn be sure to come back and play as often as you can!

With Lynn leaving we are welcoming a new member of our team starting next week, Tangii Crain!  We look forward to having Tangii as part of our wonderful team.

Chic of the Week #167

Hi everyone!  Wow!  We had so many wonderful entries with our pretty pink/white/green colors!  I did choose one entry, although I could have chosen quite a few!  So this week's winner is Emily Keaton.

Isn't this an adorable tag?  I just love how the colors pop!  Those embossed trees and so pretty in all their white!  Congratulations Emily!

 

Here are a few others that caught my eye.

 

This adorable Christmas owl card just pulled at my heart strings.  The artist (I'm not sure of her name) is from Poland and that is my heritage.  It's such a beautiful card!

 

Jen Mitchell unknowingly recreated the poinsettia on our graphic!  So pretty!

 

And this gorgeous Victorian Christmas stocking by Ira is gorgeous!

Just Us Girls #167 - Color Challenge

Oh my goodness everyone!  It's almost 9:30 am here and I totally forgot that today was Saturday, forgot about the JUGs challenge, and forgot that I was hostess!  My apologies, but there's a lot going on here at Casa Kind!  But I couldn't forget about our JUGs fans and our fabulous DT! 

 

But before we begin, our JUGs team wants to send out heartfelt love and prayers to all of those children, families, teachers and staff at Sandy Hook Elementary School.  It's a tragedy that no one can ever comprehend.  I'm a teacher and I've been through many drills to react to something like this, but you never think this kind of tragedy will ever happen.  The stories I've heard about the teachers keeping all those children safe are amazing!  Hug your babies close today and everyday!

 

Our challenge this week is a color challenge, and the colors I chose are the feminine holiday colors of white, pink, and green.  I love that color combination!
