Just Us Girls #395- Photo Week

Hello Crafters,  

Nancy here, and I am happy to be your hostess this week for Photo Week! 

I hope the picture that I have chosen for you this week, speaks to you as much as it speaks to me.  I am in full fledge wedding mode right now, as my son will be getting married in about 6 months and hubby and I are making quite a bit of the decorations and such!  Exciting times for sure!

Before I get to the challenge, I need to say thanks and farewell to our Guestie this month. It's been such a pleasure having you with us Kathie and we hope we will see you back in 

our gallery from time to time.

Chic of the Week #394

There were so many wonderful entries this week. LOVE what you all did with lime green, turquoise and navy. Everyone was so creative it was hard to pick a winner.

So the Chic of the Week is Isabelle.

 Just look what she did with those colors! 

She used the shaving cream technique and captured the challenge perfectly!

Chic of the Week # 393

I was really impressed with all of the amazing cards this week for our Trend Challenge!  You all deserve a round of applause.   There were so many different takes on this challenge and I even learned a few new techniques which I can't wait to try.

It was a very tough decision, but our newest Chic of the Week is Mimi!

I love how she used the modeling paste and inks together and her design is so cute, too.

Just Us Girls #393 - Trend Week

There seems to be a lot of the new Distress Oxide Inks from Time Holtz backgrounds being created around blogland.  My challenge is to do just that, create a background with Oxide or Distress inks, or any other ink that you have to achieve a similar effect.
Some examples of techniques:  Magic Stencil Technique, Pinterest, Splitcoaststampers.
