Just Us Girls #228 - Color

Welcome to this week's Just Us Girls Challenge

Sharyn here, and I am your hostess this week with a fun Color Challenge!  I found this photo with all of these beautiful, bright, happy colors!  Doesn't this make you want to smile!  For this challenge you will need to use at least three of the colors plus any neutrals that you need.  Of course, if you want to use all of the colors, feel free to do that.  Have fun with it.....can't wait to see what you come up with!

Just Us Girls - Technique Challenge #227

It's Sue V and it's my turn to host this week's technique challenge.
I came across this new to me technique - Inked Die Cuts by Becca at Amazing Paper Grace.  Follow the link for a tutorial.  It's a very messy technique, but I am glad I tried it and really like the results.  It looks like many, many layers.  It did take me 4 tries before I got the hang of it!  If you just can't get the hang of it, I am offering an alternate technique, to sponge ink on the die cut while it is still in the die to shade around your image or sentiment and give you a clean white/light border
