Just Us Girls #256 - Wild Card

Hello JUGS fans, Marisa here.  Today is a bitter sweet day for me.  I get to host today's challenge, which is always fun, but this will also be my last challenge as a Just Us Girls Design Team member.

 

With my new, part-time job, as well as working at hubby's office a few days a week, my mom requiring more of my time as we continue to monitor her recovery and make decisions accordingly, not to mention dearly missing my regular workouts, there are just not enough hours in a day get everything done.  There are definitely times I wish I had a clone!  That being said, it has been a wonderful two years on the JUGS Design Team, and I will definitely miss working alongside this fabulous and talented group of ladies!  Thankfully, cyber world is a great place to stay connected, and I look forward to playing along as a contestant once again :) 

Now on to this week's Wild Card challenge - anything but a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card.  Since most of my cards are A2 sized cards, I find it a nice change of pace to mix things up now and then and create a card of another size or shape.  Some ideas include:  round, square, star, onsie, tall and skinny, apple, dress etc.  Just have fun with it.  I'd also like to thank Krisite Goulet, our August Guest Designer, for all her fabulous challenge creations this month!

Chic of the Week #255

Hey everyone!  Loved seeing all the floral and rustic inspiration you all took from our inspiration photo!  Your creations were just was I envisioned when I chose this photo!  You certainly did not disappoint!

I am thrilled with the response to this color challenge with so many amazing cards!  I love all of the different styles that you all came up with this color combo.
