Color Week # 259 and a Message

Hello Everyone,  Nancy here and it's my turn to be your Color Hostess this week!  Before we get to that, we have a special message.  A sincere Thanks to all of you that showed interest in possibly becoming a Just Us Girls Design Team member.  We had some GREAT talent to pick from and it has been a very tough decision.  However, we are going to postpone our announcement till next Friday, to give us some more time to finalize our selection and get everything in order before our special announcement.  So Please Stay Tuned!

Just Us Girls #258 - Trend Week & DT Call

Before I get to this week's challenge, I wanted to announce that this week Just Us Girls is also running a DT Call! If you are interested, just play in this week's challenge and when uploading, put a DT after your name.  The Team will then discuss and vote for the chosen new JUGHEAD.  We will announce the new member on Saturday, September 20th.  The new member will officially start in the October 4th challenge.  Good Luck!

 Water coloring is still such a trend going on in blogland.  I think I have at least 15 pins for different ways to do this technique.  There are some amazing artists, with fabulous tutorials out there.  Feel free to use any of them~

Happy Fall Y'all!! Chic of the Week #256

Wow!  Thank you so much to everyone for playing along with my last challenge as a Just Us Girls DT member.  A total of 72 entries kept me very busy commenting, and having to make a decision regarding a winner very difficult!  Had to rope in my family to help me decide between my top few picks.

That being said, this week's Chic of the Week is Ina from Little Bits of Craft with this fabulous piano shaped card..

 

I adore the shape of this card and how she did a great job mimicking a baby grand piano.  The flowers on top were the perfect touch.
