JUGS #278-Wild Card Week

 I am your hostess this week and it's the 5th Saturday of the month and that means it's Wild Card Week.  I wanted to keep it relatively easy so our amount of participants can stay high like they have been. The team and I are so thrilled about this! Woohoo!

 So this week the challenge is to make your Sentiment the Focal Point of your card and or project. Love this idea! When we were making our selections about a month ago of what we wanted to do for our challenge, I hadn't seen this type of challenge in blog land all that much, but now it's everywhere. LOL Oh well, that's okay!  You all have had some practice then haven't you?   

 We also have to say goodbye to our Guest Designer Judy Woodland this week.  Her cards have been so wonderful plus she is such a sweetheart to boot and graciously has visited so many of our contestants blogs and left them some love along the way!  Thanks so much Judy!  We will miss you!  Come back and join us in the future!

Chic of the Week #275

Congratulations to all of you for showing us the many ways you all use stencils. I loved seeing all of the amazing stenciling this week!

So many wonderful creations, it makes it hard to choose just one.  There is one that really wowed me with how she added another element to stencil through giving it so much texture and depth.  Our Chic of the Week is Shery!

Just Us Girls #275 Trend Week

It's Sue here and my turn for a Trend Challenge here at JUGS!  I have really been loving stencils lately and there is so much you can do with them; you can sponge ink through the stencil, use spray inks and mists, use modeling paste or spackle, acrylic paint, etc.  You are only limited to your imagination!   If you don't have any stencils, you can make your own by using the negative piece of a punch or die cut.

Just Us Girls #274 - Word Week

I am very excited to be ushering in the New Year with the first challenge of 2015!  This week at Just Us Girls it's Word Week.  Sharyn here and I'm hosting the Word Week Challenge.  The word I have chosen is "Winter."  I live in Central Indiana in the Midwestern part of the United States.  Our weather is very changeable, it's always a surprise.  Some winters are snowy with bitter cold temperatures, sleet and ice.  This year, so far, we've had milder temperatures and no snow, but rain instead.  I hope you will be inspired by our word this week.  Put on your thinking caps and show us what Winter is like where you are.  I'm anxious to see what it means to you.
