Chic of the Week #320

A big thank you to all who played along in our red, green and gold Color Challenge this week.  I know it was a busy one for everyone since it was during the Thanksgiving holiday.  It just goes to show that crafters will find a way no matter what.  lol  I was very happy that for the most part everyone stayed within the color requirements.  I know that isn't always easy to do.  Anyway, let's get to the winner......................

Just Us Girls #319

Happy Saturday!! Maria here with this week's Trend challenge!  Let's watercolor this week.  It's all over now in the card making world.  Well I'm sure it has always been but sometimes things seem to go "viral".   So pull out any sort of water coloring medium.  I just use an in expensive tray of the pan style ones.  I have't pulled out my markers in such a long time because I have found using these are so much easier to color images with.  Come play with us!

Chic of the Week #317

A big thanks to all who played along with us this week in our one-layer challenge.  I had to laugh as I read several of your blogs because I made the same statement on my blog that one-layer cards were really hard for me.  I have to say from what I saw this week, you all rose beautifully to the occasion! I started making a list of the ones I thought were extra special and by the end of the week my list was way too long, That made for a very hard decision.


 Okay, here we go...........

Shery used painters tape to mask her card, and I think that was genius!  I love the sponging and the beautiful stamping.....well done!  Her sentiment is perfect for this card because it is Awesome!
