Just Us Girls Week 29 - It's Color Challenge Time

Welcome to Week 29 of the JUGS Challenges! Can you believe how fast time goes by it's crazy! Already the middle of April? Anyhow, it's Maria here with your color challenge this week. Check out this beautiful bedroom which is my inspiration for this week's color challenge:

So your colors this week are lovely pastels: Lavender, Green, Pink, Yellow(optional). (Gina K Designs color reference: Innocent Pink, Lovely Lavender, Lemon Drop, Creme De Menthe). Now there is a little fun twist to this week's challenge. This week we are celebrating the birthday of one of our fabulous DT members:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LISA!!!!!

So the twist is to use the colors in the challenge and make a birthday card.

How to play: You need to upload your project using this week's challenge to your online blog or public photo gallery. Leave a link that goes directly to your project in our Inlinkz form at the bottom of this post. If you upload to online galleries, please also use the keyword or tag, JUGS29. After you post to Inlinkz you can come and leave a comment here.

Deadline to be considered for the weekly "Chic of the Week" will be 9:00 PM EST on Thursday, April 22. Our Inlinkz submission form will close at that time as well. Our top pick "Chic of the Week" will be announced on Friday morning following the deadline.

Just Us Girls Week 7 - Technique Challenge!

Welcome to week 7 here at the Just Us Girls Challenge!  I'm excited to be hosting my first challenge this week, and I really hope you will all come and play along.

I thought long and hard about what I would give as a challenge, and I decided to go back to basics.  Dry Embossing.  Break out those brass stencils and your light box, your cuttlebug, folders and nesties, and show us what YOU can do!

I've added a twist to the challenge...you see, today is DANA'S BIRTHDAY!!!  So, although Dana was under the impression that today's challenge was with a twist of 'thanks' the REAL twist is to make your project for a Birthday!

Happy Birthday Dana - we wish you continued success and much happiness to last you all year!
