Just Us Girls #54 - Technique Challenge

Hi everyone! Lisa here starting the second year of challenges from Just Us Girls! We so appreciated everyone hopping and playing along with us last week! Congrats to all the winners and thanks to all the sponsors!

We also want to send out a very special belated Happy Birthday to our very own JUGs girl Alicia! She celebrated her birthday last Wednesday during our anniversary celebration. We hear she had a very nice day with her family!

Now, on to the challenge for this week. The technique I've chosen is using acetate on your card. This means making a clear card or using it as an accent. I searched the Resources section of Splitcoast Stampers and they have a bunch of different techniques using acetate. Just type "acetate" in the search box and they'll come up.

Here's what the JUGs crew has come up with using acetate. I must say that a some of the team either accidentally used the wrong technique or used vellum instead of acetate, but their cards were so darn cute we let them slip by instead of not posting this week! (grin!)

I wanted to do the magic slider card where it pulls up and is coloured but I couldn't work out the instructions!!! Hope you like my card anyway.

Fun challenge, Lisa! I got it done, just in the nick of time! All of the DT samples are beautiful! For mine, I stamped on acetate then added glitter to the backside before mounting the image. Thanks for the inspiration!
