Just Us Girls #718 Collaboration Winner of the Week

What a fabulous array of birds cards that graced the blogs of Just Us Girls/Time Out for our collaboration challenge.  Having over 85 entries makes it extremely difficult to narrow it down to just one winner.  The cards ranged from including one bird to many, whimsical birds to realistic ones to silhouettes.  We saw everything from song birds to chicken and ducks to flamingos and penguins and more. 

There was one card that I thought was a stand out and many of my team mates agreed.

Donna Mikasa

Donna's signature bright colors, the wonderful ink blending and sweet bird watching over her eggs won my heart.  Congratulations, Donna!  You may get your winner's badge from our sidebar. 

There are a few designers that I think deserve a shout-out. In order of entry

Lin Brandyberry

Lin's card design was delightful with the tiny birds on the branches that span a popped up embossed panel giving it a lot of dimension. 

Claire 

Claire's coloring brought those darling penguins to life and made me smile. 

Pam Duncan

Pam's Copic coloring of these Woodland Ducks is extraordinary.
