Just Us Girls #162 - Technique Challenge

This week is technique week here on the Just Us Girls blog, and I am your hostess.  I discovered this fabulous ribbon wreath tutorial a few years ago and decided to revisit it as it makes such a statement on a card.  Here is the link to the You-Tube tutorial.

I used 1/4" satin ribbon on my wreath, but as you can see by the samples below, you aren't limited to any particular width or type of ribbon.  You could even use 1" ribbon and make a Christmas tree ornament if you like, or use some gold or silver twine and make yourself some cute earrings.  Kids love making these too!!  I made them with my daycare kids last year and they loved them!  Just have fun with it and see what you come up with.

Below are the samples from the Design Team and our November Guest Designer Jan Del Bone have created for you inspiration.

How to play:  Please copy and use our graphic on your post.  You need to upload your project for this week's challenge to your online blog or to a public photo gallery.  Leave a link that goes directly to your project on the Linky Tools form at the bottom of this post.  If you upload to online galleries, please use the keyword or tag, JUGS 162.  After you post to Linky Tools you may also leave a comment here.

Deadline to be considered for the "Chic of the Week" is 9:00 PM EST on Thursday, November 15th. The Linky Tools form will close at that time.  Our top pick, "Chic of the Week", will be announced on the following Friday morning.

Thanks for playing with us this week.  I look forward to seeing your creations!
