Just Us Girls #184 - Technique

A few weeks ago I heard of a trend called Ombre. Apparently, this isn't anything new, but it was to me and I have to say I love the look!

The definition of ombre is the French word for color that is shaded or graduated in tone.  An example of ombre is a color that fades from dark to light.  This is new to the Team too, and look how they persevered. (I had complete confidence)  Here are the samples:

[Should you want to see more samples, you can pop over to Moxie Fab -- they had a challenge a few weeks back and there is an abundance of samples in the entries.]

As a SPECIAL SURPRISE, Cindy from over at Dare 2B Artzy is sponsoring this challenge!
Yep, that's right - the winner of this week's challenge will get to choose the stamp set they want!  Thanks so much Cindy -- so generous of you!

Dare 2B Artzy is an unique, inspiring, and contemporary line of clear stamps for the use of card making and scrapbooking. Along with the many stamp designs already created, customizable stamps are also available upon request.

I hope you try this very fun technique!

How to play: Please copy and use our graphic on your post. You need to upload your project for this week's challenge to your online blog or to a public photo gallery. Leave a link that goes directly to your project in the Linky Tools form at the bottom of this post. If you upload to online galleries, please use the keyword or tag, JUGS184. After you post to Linky Tools you may also leave a comment here.

Deadline to be considered for the "Chic of the Week" is 9:00 PM EST on Thursday, April 18th. The Linky Tools form will close at that time. Our top pick, "Chic of the Week", will be announced on the following Friday morning. Thanks for playing with us this week!

What great uses of Ombre your design crew made. I can hardly wait to try. I saw Ombre nail color kits in the beauty supply store last week, and thought that looked fun (but didn't want to have to buy the 4 colors to do it.)
